Vostok SOS was established in 2014 in response to the Russian invasion to provide assistance to internally displaced Ukrainians in Crimea and the Donbas. Following the Russian attack in February, they greatly expanded their efforts across the country. We have partnered with Vostok SOS and established a 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit called Vostok SOS USA.
Vostok SOS has approximately 100 employees. Most are internally displaced people themselves. Their activities include:
Extracting disabled individuals from the frontline (1850+ people)
Evacuating busloads of people from areas under fire (25,500+ people)
